About Us

Aeton Law Partners

A well-known trial lawyer once said, “If you are not emotionally invested, your client is not getting your best effort.” Not every attorney will agree with this statement. The lawyers here at Aeton Law Partners believe it. We care about our clients, we fight for our clients, and we hate to lose.

We understand that for many of our clients a trial or a business transaction might be the most pressing or stressful issue in their lives. We keep this in mind when we design, recommend, and implement our legal strategy. We strive to meet our client’s expectations and to minimize the stress that necessarily comes with a legal matter. Although we cannot promise you a guaranteed or certain result, we can promise to give you our best effort and take your case personally.

Our senior partners are rated AV Preeminent by their peers, which is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards as determined by Martindale-Hubbell. Our attorneys also have been rated by their peers for several years running to gain the select listing of outstanding attorneys in Connecticut and New England by Super Lawyers. In addition to our exemplary ratings from the legal community, we are most pleased to be highly regarded by our clients. If you want to hear directly from a current or past client, we will be happy to connect you with one or provide a list of references.

About Us

When we started the firm, our innovative approach to the practice of law was recognized by others in the legal field and featured in the Connecticut Law Tribune. We strongly believe in the smart use of technology as an integral tool in the efficient delivery of legal services. The idea was to cut the costly overhead associated with most law firms. This permits our firm to increase the quality and efficiency of our services while offering better pricing options for our clients.  Our model creates substantial flexibility to offering alternative and highly competitive fee options to best suit the needs, goals, and budgets of our clients.

We pride ourselves on pushing the envelope in terms of law firm structure, best practices, and efficiency. We do not spend our client’s money on unnecessary overhead or to train junior attorneys. If something is not essential to our law practice, we do not waste money on it. The savings we create allows us to reach a broader group of clients and provide the same high quality of work at a lower cost.

The law practice management systems we choose to use are accessible and collaborative so that we may service our clients with multiple attorneys from any location, untethered and on demand. Our firm is digital, and we strive to minimize our use of paper files. Our firm also routinely uses virtual support, from associates and paralegals to support staff. Simply put, when you hire us, you are paying for the attorney and the legal services – not exorbitant office space, fancy mahogany desks, or marble pillars.

We start our services by seeking to provide our clients with different options that always include cost-effective strategies given the nature of the transaction or dispute. We do not try to steer our clients towards a strategy that only serves the revenue of the law practice. We strive to be up front about the expected or possible costs of a matter. We do this for a simple reason: we want you to be our client for a long time. We want you to refer your friends and colleagues. We want you to be pleased with our services. For more information about how we charge for our services, read here. If you have additional questions, we are happy to provide you with references for both our case results and billing practices.

At Aeton, our goal is exceptional client service. Our service goals begin with what we call our client List of Expectations. This List constitutes the service goals we set for ourselves when representing all clients. Not only is it a reminder to our clients of what they should expect from their lawyers, but also it serves as a reminder to us of what the focus should be: exceptional client service.

We understand that our clients want to stay informed about critical case developments, court dates, and progress reports. Sometimes our attorneys can get tied up in transaction or court proceeding for days at a time. At Aeton, we have multiple points of contact for our clients to get information from the legal team. Additionally, for our clients who wish to informally check in on their cases or transactions, we can provide you with a client portal that allows you to see key dates and attorney updates.
