Our litigation and trial attorneys include two former prosecutors as well as attorneys with training and experience from prominent law firms. Our lead trial attorneys are N. Kane Bennett and Jonathan Shapiro. Attorney Bennett has completed over 50 trials with jury trials in multiple states. Attorney Shapiro has tried cases in state court, federal court, arbitrations and other forums, including handling the longest trade secrets trial in the history of Connecticut. He has also argued appeals before the Connecticut Appellate Court, Connecticut Supreme Court, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also served as a mediator in a variety of disputes, including complex business disputes.

Attorney Bennett received his initial trial experience and training as a prosecuting attorney and subsequently continued his training at one of Connecticut’s largest litigation and trial law firms. Attorney Shapiro has completed over 50 trials in a variety of matters. He received trial experience and litigation training at one of Connecticut’s top large law firms. He has logged more than 75 days of trial in 2019 alone and is in the middle of one of the longest trial proceedings of record in a business trade secret case. Attorneys Bennett and Shapiro are joined by experienced trial attorneys Nate Baber, Chris Folsom, and Brian Ward.
