At Aeton, our team members all have designated responsibilities for case handling from the moment you contact our firm through closing of your file. The process begins with our client service coordinator and responding to new and existing client needs. We quickly seek to determine for new clients whether the firm can help or provide a referral source. Once a case is accepted, our service coordinator stays involved until an attorney and dedicated team, if applicable, is assigned to the matter. In this way, new clients will know who their point of contact is in the firm at all stages of case handling.
The attorneys and staff at Aeton worked together to develop a shared mission statement, and the core attributes of the professionals who work for our clients. The mission statement we developed is to provide our clients with professionally aggressive legal services by trusted and experienced attorneys in an honest, swift, and efficient manner. The team seeks to hold each other accountable to this mission in frequent firm wide meetings. Through this process, we also developed some core attributes or values we hold ourselves to as goals. Each of us are dedicated to being a “true professional” as described by prominent author David Maister. To sum it up, this means we care about getting better at what we do everyday and we care about our clients and services we deliver.
In addition to a shared mission statement, the employees of Aeton helped put together a list of values to help define the culture at the firm. One of the agreed upon values was to support charity and community service. The firm developed the idea to support each team member’s chosen charity, and to support the particular organization as a group. The firm’s goal is to support at least one team member’s charity on a quarterly basis. As an example, the firm recently completed a fund raiser and walk a thon for NAMI, and next will engage with fundraising and bowling with our veterans in Newington, Connecticut. We do these activities as a group in addition to the individual projects and support of local community organizations.
